THE PRODUCTS: Bumble and bumble’s new Surf Foam Wash Shampoo and Surf Creme Rinse Conditioner, paired with their cult classic Surf Spray.
THE NAME: “The names of the entire Surf family of products evoke how ocean water behaves,” says Michael Pierce, director of North America retail sales at Bumble and bumble. “It foams when it hits the beach, rinses away from the shore, sprays when a wave crashes against the rocks.”
THE LOOK: “We wanted a shampoo and conditioner that would give you that airy body and texture that you get after a day at the beach, but would still give you soft, touchable hair.”
THE SCENT: “The scent is like a clean and refreshing take on an ocean swim,” Pierce says. “It has notes of melon and white jasmine and hints of that sea breeze aroma and the smell of warm sand.”
THE INGREDIENTS: “Both the shampoo and the conditioner contain a mineral blend, which helps give hair soft, beachy texture, and a sea botanical blend, which hydrates and softens. The Creme Rinse also has additional conditioning ingredients to add moisture and detangle.”
